Surface burner cap that sits over the burner head to shape the flame and protect the burner. Replacing a worn or damaged cap helps restore even heating and more consistent ignition on compatible gas ranges. What it does:

• Covers the burner head to direct the flame for more uniform cooking and to shield burner components from spills.
• Helps maintain stable flame performance; a damaged cap can cause uneven heat, sputtering, or intermittent ignition.
• Seats on the burner base in the OEM position to ensure correct flame pattern and heat distribution.
• Replace when cracked, chipped, warped, or visibly corroded to avoid cooking and ignition issues.

What's included: One burner cap. Install notes:

• Turn off the gas supply and allow the cooktop to fully cool before removing or installing the cap.
