To get to it, the dishwasher has to be removed and positioned face-down (drain first, use towels/drop-cloth). Replaced it, and problem solved. Hardest part was getting the dishwasher out. William L Grafton , NH September 01, 2014 Our maytag dishwasher would start diagnostics showed the wash motor was drawing to much current Check the washer motor for a short. It checked out fine. Tested the start capacitor with a multi meter and it showed only 2uf should be 15uf. Ordered new capacitor and dishwasher works fine.... Read More...
