I was very impressed with AppliancePartsPros technical assistance via chat. After describing the problem. I was advised to replace the chute assembly and control board. The work took me less than a half hour and I cleaned the coils in that time too. The only issue was with finding instructions on how to program the board with my refrigerator code. I'm sure AppliancePartsPros would have helped me with that, but I was able to find a youtube video explaining the sequence with a similar fridge. The fridge has been running now for two weeks without any issues. Christopher H Ellicott City , MD September 28, 2015 Chute lever would occasionally stick causing water or ice to continue coming out after lever was released Removed face plate and LED display. Unhooked a few sets of wires and removed water hose and clear shield from chute. Removed old chute and replaced with new one. Replaced water hose and clear shield. Hooked up wired. Replaced LED display and face plate. Overall, it was not too difficult. All in all, I think there were 5-6 screws. One of the screws securing the chute was a pain to put back just because it was set back and my socket was not magnetized so the screw kept falling out. Removing the water hose took a little bit of time, but that was mostly because I was afraid of breaking it.
