Whirlpool WP13005705 Chute Extension Yoke OEM Part

I took it apart several times and cleaned around where it was sticking but always kept going back to sticking. I finally ordered the part and replaced it. Very easy to do and now works fine.

Unfortunately, the only repair for the lights is to buy the entire descender unit. No problem as it is an easy install. Remove the trim ring and two 1/4” fasteners. The dispenser is held by three of the same kind of fasteners. Unplug the wiring harness and reassemble. Repair complete. This new unit even fixed the water dispenser that used to come blasting out like a firehouse. Now it is WAY better. Ordered on Friday and it arrived on Saturday. In 15 minutes I was back in business.

I ordered a new dispensing unit. The website is easy to use and had no problem finding the part once I typed the model number for my refrigerator.

Replaced dispenser assembly. Most difficult part was prying off the panel from the door. After removing the two screws hidden behind the plastic tray, you need to pry away the panel from the bottom while pushing up to allow a top clip to disengage.

I replaced the whole chute, not difficult to replace, although I had to purchase the whole assembly, I was thankful that is what it was...
