Neal D Hixson , TN July 31, 2019 Lint filter stuck. There's a metal piece that the lint filter pushes down into that got bent a bit I guess and ended up skewering the lint filter. I got it loose but couldn't get the metal piece to stay where it was supposed to be to operate without catching the lint filter. I think it's there to prevent things like socks from hitting the blower wheel. When the new part came in I had to take the front cover off the blower wheel. It was easier than I thought, just three bolts/screws. Don't bother taking off the cover for the lint filter. Jeffrey G New Carlisle , OH October 28, 2022 Clip catching on the lint filter. Took off the front lower part of the dryer to reach where the clip fits in the slot. There is no need to take the filter bracket off. Once the clip was in place the lower cover holds it in place when reinstalled.
