Description
This is a Whirlpool washing machine control board. This part can be found behind the control panel on top of the washer, and it manages the washer's functions, including filling, washing, spinning, and draining.A washer control board may be damaged by power surge, exposure to excessively high heat or moisture. If the washer's display shows error code F1 E1, that means the control board has malfunctioned. A damaged or faulty control board may cause the washer to skip cycles or stop working completely. A voltage tester can be used to verify that the control panel is causing problems.Before installing this part, be sure to cut power to the washer. It will need to be pulled away from any walls, as well, as the control panel is accessed from the back of the appliance.
