Description

This product is a Whirlpool washer main control board sourced directly from the manufacturer. The control board rests behind the main knob assembly of the washer in the console. This component is the main control center for the appliance. Without a properly functioning control board, the washer will not operate efficiently. In cases of a complete shortage of the part, the washer will cease to work completely. Signs of a malfunctioning control board include, but are not limited to, a burning smell coming from the control board, an error message reading from the appliance, or certain functions operating intermittently. Always unplug appliances from their power sources before making any repairs. Use a flathead screwdriver to release the fastening clips located underneath the washing machine's front left and right corners. Pull the panel forward, exposing the main control board area. Unplug the control board from the wiring harnesses, and disconnect the air pressure tube. Finally, remove the small screws that secure the control board assembly. Prepare the new control board assembly for installation and follow these instructions in reverse.This part is a genuine OEM product and is sold individually.
