Description

This washer control module is manufactured by Whirlpool. The washer control module handles all the functions, from filling to adjusting the cycle. Users enter their input through the interface controls, which sends the corresponding signal to the washer control module. Heat, moisture, and internal faults can compromise the module, though, potentially leaving the washer inoperable. Replacing the washer control module is not that involved. First, users should unplug the washer. Next, pull it out so there is ample room to access the rear of the appliance. Remove the back panel and the control module should be located on the left side. Disconnect the wiring from the module and remove the failed unit. Install the new one, reconnect the wiring, and then replace the back of the washer.
