Daniel B Glenview , IL August 09, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer GHW9460PW0 Whirlpool duet washer had no power at all no error code as display was dark The washer stopped mid cycle and nothing would work. Couldn't unlock the door, the entire display went dark, and nothing would happen when we pressed any buttons. Tried unplugging and replugging in the machine and nothing happened. Read a repair story on line that said if you plug in the machine and there is no audible 'click' that the central control unit is bad. Found a unit on appliance parts pros.com and replaced it. The actual repair took less than 30 minutes (wanted to be careful not to break any wire harnesses and wanted to make sure I put the correct harnesses into the correct spots on the CCU).
