Description

This is an oven control board manufactured by Whirlpool. The control board is responsible for transmitting user input to the stove's burners and the oven. This board does not include the digital display or buttons, which are housed on a separate component. The control board is located behind a metal cover within the stovetop. This provides some protection from damage, but it is not impervious. High heat levels and exposure to spills can cause the board to fail over time. Symptoms could include one or more heating elements not working properly, or the stovetop not working at all. The control board will need to be replaced in these instances. Replacing the control board will require unplugging the oven, then removing the metal cover from the display on the stove. Locate the old board, remove the mounting screws, and disconnect the wiring harness.This is an OEM part and it is sold individually. It is compatible with KitchenAid and Whirlpool branded stovetops.
