Description

This is a refrigerator main control board. It manages and monitors the temperature settings of the appliance, including defrosting and cooling times. If the main control board is damaged or no longer working, the refrigerator or freezer could become too warm or cool, stop defrosting, or no longer start. In this situation, the part will need to be replaced.The only tool needed to replace the main control board is a flat blade screwdriver. First, make sure the refrigerator is unplugged to avoid it coming on during the replacement process. Next, two screws should be removed where the door closes before the light shield is taken off by pushing it to the back of the appliance. Find the access panel holding the main control board and apply pressure to pull it away. Free the pegs and move the hinges toward the front.
