Richard G Midlothian , VA March 02, 2021 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator, French Door WRV996FDEM00 Lights and compressor failed to restart after power loss accompanied by clicking sounds Ordered two boards which were indicated as the possible problem. I took detailed pictures of each board before removing to assure I was reconnecting all the connections correctly. I used a long set of needle nose pliers to remove each connector. The tricky part was trying to figure out how to remove the boards. So far when I experience a power loss the frigid has successfully restarted. Fingers crossed!! Edward B Wirtz , VA January 18, 2024 Appliance: KitchenAid Refrigerator, French Door KRMF706EBS01 Intermittent functions of lights, defrost, ice maker and the temp going up above 40 degrees. Usually after a power outage. Ordered a new control board and a new power control board. Installed both in about 50 minutes Refrigerator started working correctly. Time will tell because it sometimes worked for weeks before acting up.
