William M Sunnyside , WA February 06, 2017 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator ED27DQXBW01 The whirlpool side by side needed upgrade of control components The 20 year old unit still serves us well, looks good and has been kept in good repair. The condenser fan had stopped so I removed, cleaned and oiled that motor. The decision was made to make an upgrade to the evaporator motor and control units so that the appliance could reasonably be expected to have extended service life. The Ice maker module had been replaced 7 years ago. I ordered the parts and have made the upgrade for temperature controller and the defrost control. If you are in a critical need for parts an expedited delivery should be arranged, my order was more than 7 days delivery time. I could have purchased the exact parts from a competitor for considerably less but chose not to do so. I am basing the decision on expectation that to deal with appliance pros is better in the long run. The competitor will not be any help if I need technical service or advice. And the repair videos from Appliance Pros are worth gold! I have prior refrigeration mechanics experience but even for me the videos are a valuable insight as to how to proceed on the replacement of parts...saves time in dismantling the appliance cabinet to gain access to components and offers good tips to keep you from making a critical mistake. Hats off to Appliance Pros for the videos .Also, the web site for Appliance Pros is responsive and very well organized....easy to navigate. I will shop here again because the features included in this web site more than make up for any price differential to be found with other sellers of parts. Matthew D Newnan , GA March 31, 2014 My fridge was not keeping the right temperature and would shut off for hours and not come back on unless I turned the dial off and back on. Replaced the thermostat from AppliacnePartsPros.com. Took the advice of many reviews to avoid non-OEM replacement parts and just get the real thing. So far the fridge is working great! Also used the installation video as a guide from AppliancePartsPros.com which was great because it was my exact model!
