Kenneth K Mahopac , NY August 11, 2015 The compressor did not go on unless i hit the area around the thermostat that indicates a bad 'stat Replaced the thermostat. It was a trick wiggling the capillary line out of it's well, but once out, replacing it was simple. Lots of screws, so remember where they all go. Take pics, as you disassemble it, totally from the fridge section. Also be careful to have the correct side of the thermostat box up, or the knob will point in the wrong direction. Ask me how I know this. :) Also, on my particular model, there was no place to connect the ground wire, so it grounded through the chassis.
