Sean D Winthrop , MA March 21, 2016 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDS40FVSS3 The normal cycle and start buttons would not function so i could not use dishwasher After a little research it seems that the control panel on these KitchenAid/Whirlpool dishwashers is problematic. I was able to reboot/reset the dishwasher as well as run a drain cycle using the cancel button so it seemed everything else was functioning. Based on a comment I read that mentioned something along the lines of "We see allot of failures with this part and it's common" I ordered it. From the time I took it out of the box to running a load in the dishwasher was about 15 minutes. Super easy to install, remove the door panel, two screws from latch and unplug the existing panel, swap the control board and latch to the replacement part and reassemble. Read More...
