Reed W Eldon , MO November 11, 2014 My dishwasher detergent dispensor door was not opening during wash cycle and the control panel was loose because the plastic mounts for the screws were broken I ordered a new detergent dispenser and control assembly, watched a few videos on you tube and dived in. The repairs were pretty simple once I got started and while I was doing this I went the extra step and cleaned out the drain. I would suggest doing this annually. Pretty simple to do and only 5 screws to get to the drain and the grinder. I found plastic and several other things that would not allow the dishwasher to drain properly and probably part of the problem of dishes not getting clean. It took less than an hour to do all the repairs and maintenance. Watch the you tube videos and from there almost anyone can figure out.
