Thomas G Albuquerque , NM September 07, 2014 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL DU1055XTST2 Whirlpool du1055xtst2 dishwasher would not start The dishwasher would not start. The only buttons that would light up on the front of the dishwasher were the bottom right three (Hi-Temp Wash, Sani-Rinse, and Heated Dry). So, after checking the high temp cutout switch and the door switches, I assumed that the electronic control board was bad. I ordered it from AppliancePartsPros and got it in two days as requested. The control board had no effect on the symptoms, so I reinstalled the old board and ordered the front panel. When it arrived, after installation, the dishwasher now works normally. And, since AppliancePartsPros allows returns, I sent the control board back for a refund. The only challenge was the troubleshooting - the symptom of the bottom three lights did not appear in the troubleshooting guidance, so I had to guess on what to try first - the control board or the control panel.
