Austin A Puyallup , WA July 20, 2015 The washer wouldn't turn on Grandma had a whirlpool tech. Come out and determined it was the control panel. He wanted to charge $500 for parts and labor. I found the panel on here so I ordered it and installation took 10 minutes at most with just 6 screws along with some tabs holding the circuit board in. Put it all back together and it worked great. Make note the screws were special torx heads but I was able to manage with Allen keys to remove them. Robert W Ringgold , LA March 09, 2017 Appliance: Whirlpool Undercounter Dishwasher GU2300XTSB0 At first we noticed that the lights on the control panel were dim the dishwasher would not function at all we could push the buttons and on a couple of them the lights would get bright but most of t We first I turned the power breaker off to kill the power. Took the six screws out that holds the panel to the door out. There is a cover over the control board, just unlatch it. I then unlatch the the door latch. I did check the micro switches with a meter to make sure that they functioned properly. The control board was next, just unlatch it. Even though it marked I did use my phone aND took pictures of how all the wires hooked up. Carefully unplugged all the wires. I took the control board out of the piece it snaps in to check it for possible signs of hot spots or damage, it looked good. We'll that was pretty much it, just reassembled it all on the new control panel, put the assembly back on the door, turned the power back on and wha la, it worked. Read More...
