Description
This ice container assembly stores ice in the freezer and feeds it to the dispenser. Replacing a cracked or worn bin restores reliable dispensing and helps prevent jams, clumps, or spills inside the freezer. What it does:
- Holds ice produced by the icemaker and stages it for dispensing
- Interfaces with the drive to move ice toward the chute when dispensing
- Helps maintain proper ice flow and reduce clumping
- Common symptoms: ice not dispensing or dispensing slowly, loud grinding during dispense, visible cracks, or ice spilling/leaking from the bin

Install notes:
- Disconnect power and turn off the icemaker before servicing
- Remove the old bin and discard any remaining ice; clear frost or debris from the drive area
- Slide the new assembly straight onto the drive coupler until fully seated and latched
- Restore power and allow fresh ice to be made before testing dispensing
