Whirlpool WP8507P391-60 Electronic Control Board OEM Part

I removed the old computer, screwed the new one on and reattached the connectors, then plugged in the new touch pad. Getting the old one out was a matter of removing the correct screws for the control panel. Big point: I UNPLUGGED the stove before touching anything, and only plugged it back in after the new computer, touch pad and control panel were reinstalled. Pretty simple, once I knew how to remove the control panel. Not knowing how to remove the old touch panel is why I forced the connectors off, breaking the computer's solder connections on the pins. They are quite fragile, and nearly impossible to repair or resolder (think 6-8 pins half the size of a straight pin, all soldered in a row. The computer arrived very quickly, much faster than I had expected, and it was precisely the correct part (it's called the electronic control board).
