Thomas G Christiansburg , VA May 16, 2020 Appliance: Jenn-Air Self Cleaning Slide-In Downdraft Electric Range JES9800BAF Replaced cracked ceramic stove top. Ordered new cook top, arrived in 2days. Replacement was very easy. Part was perfect fit and had same markings as factory top. Repair only required a philips head screwdriver. Removed 8 screws holding top on, lifted front up and unplugged two electrical connectors, them removed top. Flipped top over and removed the four burners (8 screws). Moved burners to new top, installed 8 screws, set top on stove, reattach electrical connectors, then reinstall 8 screws to hold the top on. Only issue I observed was the screws are a little difficult to get started in the new top due to the coating on the metal. Slight pressure on the screw while turning helped the screw bite through the coating and screw in.
