Cross checked with APP using online chat before ordering so that delivered cooktop part was exactly the same as the broken one. After looking at a how-to video on Youtube, removed a few screws and installed the new part in a few minutes after cleaning up remaining broken glass. It was perhaps good luck that local parts warehouse was nearby because the part arrived the next day.
