Whirlpool W10401232 Range Main Glass Cooktop OEM Part

It was as easy as ordering the new top to the glass Cook top and replacing it. The Cook top just rests on top of the counter. So all I had to do was lift the cook top up off of the counter, unscrew 8 screws that secured the glass top to the cook top. Once I removed the broken glass, it was just as easy to reinstall the new glass. Fastened the 8 screws back into place and placed it back where it was in the counter. The end.

Purchased a new cook top from AppliancePartsPros.com. My son helped install it which was very easy. Had to purchase a tube of clear caulk adhesive to help seal it.

Ordered and received new part. Removed 10 screws, removed old top and installed new.
