Rich S Custer Park , IL January 22, 2023 Appliance: Maytag Dishwasher MDB4949SHZ0 Dishes weren't getting clean especially on the top rack The hardest part was getting on my knees to do the repair/replacement. It was obvious debris wasn't being filtered out when the water was recirculated. I noticed the accumulator wasn't seating right and found the plastic clips on the backside were bent and worn. The new part came within a day and a half. Everything either unscrewed and snapped together with no tools. You may want to use a flat screwdriver to take the upper arm tube feed loose from its clips but it can be done by hand. Done in about 10 minutes.
