Eric S Black Diamond , WA March 08, 2017 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL RANGE MODEL #: WFE710H0AE1 On board auto test feature found "1 failure & 1 fault" (f6e1) After 2 years of flawless use, oven suddenly decided to have a mind of it's own. Pressed Cancel to turn off oven after use and it wouldn't turn off. In fact, it seemed like the oven went FULL On...Heat was pouring out of the open door 5+ minutes after pressing Cancel several times. Ended up turning it off at the Breaker. Let things cool down, then powered back up and ran the on-board Auto Test feature. Found "1 Failure & 1 Fault". (F6E1). Control Board and Bake Element needed replaced. Ordered both from AppliancePartsPros.com on a Sunday Evening. Received "Shipped" Confirmation & Tracking # 9:30am Monday. Parts arrived Sat late morning. John D Bluffton , SC October 22, 2021 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Range WFE714HLAS1 Failure check wiring k2 p14 and or element on self test Found online where failures are within the control circuit, faults are outside the control circuit. Put voltmeter on element connectors should have read 240v during bake cycle. Replaced the control circuit card. Appliance Parts Pros had the part, it arrived earlier than expected and installation was easy. Circuit card fixed the problem! Read More...
