Thomas R Stow , OH July 19, 2014 Appliance: Model MAYTAG PLUS Water was leaking out onto the floor in front and could not change the temperature in the refrigerator I determined that the most likely culprit was the Damper unit malfunctioning. So I went on line searching for a new one. My refrigerator is 12 years old, so it wasn't easy to find one. Appliance parts pro had it and the cost was comparative to what Maytag wanted. I chatted with the parts rep. and emailed back and forth a few times before deciding that I could replace this part.
