Vergel C San Antonio , TX October 11, 2014 Appliance: Model MAYTAG NEPTUNE MODEL AWW6500 No delay for bleach and softener dispensers Opened the washer (details later) and noted the controls and water path. Ordered dispenser bottom and cover and dispenser valve assembly and rubber washers. When the parts arrived I removed the top portion of the detergent dispenser assembly; removed the door and 2 screws from opposite door wall; snap open the front cover and lifted it off; removed 1 metal screw each from the bottom front corners of the top cover; lifted the top cover and used a piece of wood to hold it up; pull down/disconnected the valve assembly power lines; removed the 2 half-inch water supply lines to the valve dispenser; disconnected the 2-inch rubber hose from the bottom dispenser. I assembled the new dispenser parts and installed it. I did a quick washer run to confirm no leaks.
