Description
This disposer stopper fits in the disposer throat to plug the sink drain when needed. Replace a worn or missing stopper to restore a dependable water seal and keep utensils and debris out of the disposer. What it does:
- Seals the disposer/sink opening to hold water in the sink basin
- Helps prevent utensils and debris from entering the disposer when not in use
- Restores proper sealing when the original stopper is cracked, warped, or missing
- Typical symptoms: water leaks past the stopper, poor fit in the opening, damaged or missing stopper

Install notes:
- Turn off the disposer at the wall switch and, if accessible, disconnect power for safety
- Clean the sink flange/disposer throat to remove buildup that can prevent sealing
- Insert the stopper and seat it evenly to create a seal; do not run the disposer with the stopper engaged
- Hand-wash and dry periodically to maintain the sealing surface; avoid harsh chemicals on the rubber
