Doug G West Milford , NJ May 31, 2014 Broken door handle on kenmore refrigerator Removed old handles by sliding the top and bottom trim covers up and down respectively which reveals the handle screws, unscrewing the old handles ( 4 screws each) screwing in the the new handles and sliding the covers back in place. Tim T Park Ridge , IL October 17, 2014 Replacing broken freezer handle I replaced both so they would match in 5 min. All you need is a screwdriver. Just slide the top trim pieces up and the bottom trim pieces down. The screws for the handles will then be exposed. Take off the old and screw in the new handles. Slide the trim pieces back on.
