William F Austin , TX June 28, 2014 Appliance: Model MWH3800 Broken handle on microwave oven door By using the tips provided on the website, it was relatively easy to remove the inner trim on the microwave oven door to gain access to the door screws. The repair did require the complete removal of the interior trim piece, not just the section at the edge of the door. Then, the inner door metal panel had to be separated from the outer front (plastic) part of the door which, as the tips state, leaves the door glass loose, so keep a hand on it from the inside during the work. Fortunately, they also had instructions how to remove the inside of the door (glass) to gain access to the bottom screw.
