Description
This ice door is the dispenser door that opens and closes to allow ice to pass from the freezer bin into the dispenser chute, helping keep the ice compartment closed when not in use. Fits select Whirlpool freezer door dispensers. What it does:
- Covers the ice chute and seals the dispenser opening to help reduce warm air entering the freezer.
- Opens and closes with dispenser actuation to release ice on demand.
- Prevents loose ice from falling into the chute when the dispenser is not in use.
- Common symptom indicators: door is broken, cracked, hanging, or ice does not dispense cleanly.
