Description

This ice door is the interior flap that opens and closes the freezer dispenser chute to control ice release and help keep cold air inside. Replaces a cracked, warped or broken dispenser flap to restore normal ice dispensing and reduce drafts. What it does:

• Seals the ice chute when the dispenser is idle to help maintain freezer temperature
• Opens and closes with dispenser actuation to allow ice to pass through
• Prevents large debris from entering the ice chute and interfering with dispensing
• Commonly replaced when the door is cracked, stuck, or no longer sealing
