Whirlpool 4318273 Door Switch Kit OEM Part

I ordered the Door Switch Kit, along with a few other items. However, the switch kit was all that was needed. Isimply followed the instructions that came with the kit. It was necessary to cut the wires which connected to the wire assembly in the door of the dishwasher. I then connected the pieces from the switch kit and then connected the end pieces to the door. I closed the door, and started up the dishwasher. It worked as well as before.

Opened the panel and found burnt insulation on the connector to the door switches. I jumped the switch and reset the breaker and got lights. Switched the breaker iff and ordered the part. Shipped on Tuesday and recieved it on Wednesday.

Took the door apart. Cut and stripped the 4 wires and rewired them to the part I received. Made sure everything was plugging up in the right order and fired it up. Works like a new one.

The door switch kit did the trick.

I watched your video, ordered the part, it arrived in less than 48 hours, and I swapped it out.
