Kathryn F San Diego , CA May 10, 2015 No problem: i needed to drain the washer water into my dry california garden Our dryer is next to an exterior wall and the washer right next to the dryer. I wanted to drain the washer water outside. I easily connected the existing washer drain hose with one of the two new drain hoses, attached the hoses in two locations to the wall with a 'U' bracket, drilled a hole in the outside wall, and ran the new hose outside. The planter I want to water is on the other side of a narrow walkway and about five feet from the house wall. At the end of the first drain hose, I connected the drain hose extension with the provided clamps. The combined two new drain hoses easily reached the planter. I attached a hook to the outside wall of my house to loop the drain hose out of the way when I am working in the garden and need to use the walkway. Slick as a whistle!!!
