Description

This air duct routes heated or cooled airflow inside the appliance to maintain proper ventilation and component cooling. Replacing a damaged duct restores correct airflow and helps prevent overheating or poor performance. What it does:

• Channels internal airflow between components or to the external vent to maintain proper ventilation
• Helps prevent hotspots that can cause frequent cycling or overheating
• Reduces abnormal noises caused by distorted or obstructed airflow paths
• Can stop smells or smoke caused by debris trapped against heating elements

What's included:

• One air duct as shown

Install notes:

• Disconnect power (and gas if applicable) before starting any repair; allow the appliance to cool completely
• Remove exterior panels or access covers to reach the duct; retain fasteners for reassembly
• Verify proper orientation and sealing surfaces; replace any damaged clips or gaskets for a secure fit
