Description

This broil burner spark electrode generates the ignition spark at the oven's broil burner so the flame lights reliably when you select Broil. Replacing a worn or cracked electrode restores consistent broil ignition and reduces repeated clicking.

• Provides a high-voltage spark at the broil burner to ignite gas
• Works with the range's spark/ignition module to light the broiler
• Common symptoms: broiler won't light, intermittent or delayed ignition, continuous clicking with no flame, cracked ceramic insulator
• Spark-style component (not a glow-bar igniter)

What's included: 1 broil burner spark electrode. Install notes:

• Disconnect electrical power and shut off gas; allow the oven to cool completely.
• Remove oven racks and any flame spreader/guard to access the broil burner area.
• Note electrode position and gap to the burner port; transfer mounting hardware and avoid stressing the ceramic insulator.
• Route and reconnect the ignition wire/harness away from heat and sharp edges; restore gas and power and test ignition.
