Description

This bake element restores primary heat to the lower oven cavity. Replacing a burned-out element helps bring back consistent temperatures and reliable baking performance.

• Provides radiant heat during bake cycles in the lower oven cavity
• Failure symptoms can include no heat in bake mode, very slow preheat, uneven baking, or a visible break/blister on the element
• Restores stable, even temperatures so recipes cook as intended
• Replaces an open or shorted element to return the oven to normal operation

What's included: 1 bake element. Install notes:

• Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing.
• Remove oven racks and bottom panel to access the element; remove mounting screws.
• Carefully pull the element forward and disconnect the two wire terminals; do not let wires slip back into the cavity.
• Install the new element, reattach terminals and screws, restore power, and test bake.

Tech tip: With power off, check the element for continuity; an open reading indicates a failed element.
