D B Lindstrom , MN November 27, 2016 Appliance: Jenn-Air Electric Wall Oven W121-E Both burner elements were out Turned the power off. Lifted the oven door up and off.to make access easier and to clean an replace gasket. Then unscrewed the element brackets. Cleaned oven. Took oven door apart to replace gasket ,you have to separate the door halves to clean window and get the gasket out. This is where you better take pictures and notes. You need a large work bench and a good #2 Phillips. Taking the elements out you will deal with gouged out screws, rust stripped threads etc. You may need to buy some self tapping sheet metal screws to get It re- mounted. Make sure you clip onto you wires or they will fall behind the rear oven wall. Then you will bi fishing for them through a 3/4 inch hole or taking the whole oven out of the wall. Not good. ALL the parts ordered fit perfect, good quality and work. Read More... 4 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Screwdrivers
Mike P Stone Mountain , GA December 02, 2017 Appliance: Model JENN AIR MODEL W241 The existing bake element was not working light bulb was also burned out. I simply removed and replaced the bake element and light bulb. The only difficulty I had was working around the open oven door. I relied on the Appliance Parts Pros videos for procedures on how to do this safely and correctly. I would not have attempted this repair without the videos. The only problem I had was the $5 screws ($10 for the two I purchased) were not the same type as the original scews and they did not "grip" the oven wall properly so I had to re-use the original screws which were slightly stripped. I would like to mention that when I called to order the parts I was helped by Robin who was extremely polite and professional. I will ask for her the next time I order from APP.
