Description

The broil element is the oven's upper heating element that delivers direct radiant heat for broiling and finishing foods. Replacing a failed element restores consistent top-side browning and proper broil performance.

• Disconnect power at the breaker or unplug the range; allow the oven to cool completely
• Remove oven racks to access the element
• Take out the element's mounting screws, gently pull the element forward, and transfer the wires one at a time to the new element
• Ensure terminals are fully seated and mounting screws are snug; restore power and test Broil
