Description

This broil element replaces the oven's top heating element to restore browning and broiling performance. It provides the heating surface used during broil cycles so food cooks from the oven top as intended. What it does:

• Heats from the top of the oven during broil cycles to brown and crisp foods
• Restores heat when the broil function produces little or no heat
• Replaces elements that are visibly burned, broken, or open
• Works with ovens that use a tubular U-shaped upper heating element

What's included: One broil (upper oven) heating element. Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the range at the breaker or unplug before starting.
• Allow the oven to cool completely and wear gloves to avoid sharp edges.
• Remove mounting screws and disconnect element terminals; install in reverse order.
• Verify secure connections and test the broil cycle after reassembly.
