David L Pittsford , NY January 22, 2016 Cracked plastic ice maker tray shelf Upon receipt of part (in 2 days), removed right panel (snapped on). Removed ice tray. Removed one screw holding broken tray. Then removed plug from motor/solenoid. Next, moved motor/solenoid from old cracked tray to new one. All holes aligned exactly. Replaced shelf/motor in freezer, and reconnected cable from motor to freezer wall. Put one screw back in. Then replaced right-side snap-in panel. Finally, slid in ice-tray itself onto the new shelf. A good tip I got from their site was that the coupler was lefthand thread. Michael O Middlesboro , KY November 22, 2016 Broken enclosure ice Easy fix , one hex screw to remove, slide the side plate off, push the enclosure back and upward and out it comes. Unlatch the wiring before pulling the enclosure all the way out. Motor, end bracket and selonoid are easily removed and an exact fix into premolded slot in the new enclosure.
