Description

This refrigerator dispenser motor enclosure is the molded housing that mounts and protects the ice dispenser/auger motor inside the freezer door. It keeps the drive aligned and shielded so ice dispensing is smooth and consistent.

• Secures and aligns the dispenser/auger motor behind the ice bin
• Shields the motor and wiring from moisture and debris
• Provides a stable mounting point to reduce vibration and noise
• Damage may present as no or intermittent ice dispensing, loud rattling/grinding, or a loose/misaligned motor assembly

Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the refrigerator before servicing
• Remove the ice bin and dispenser/door trim as needed to access the enclosure; note screw locations and wire routing
