Vicki F Vestavia , AL June 28, 2015 Appliance: Model I DON'T REMEMBER. The bottom element in the oven was burned out one range top burner was burned out the b ezels for oven operation were eith broken and/or temperatures worn off and know on timer was missing It only took a few minutes to locate the needed parts online once I had the model number of my range. The order was shipped promptly, I received it two days later. There was a tutorial video on how to replace the baking element in the oven that was 2 or 3 minutes long. I watched the video, it took a screwdriver and needle-nose pliers to remove the old element and replace it with the new element. I used the needle-nose pliers to get the fastener loose on the old element. It took me two times to get it the new element to work, because I had not gotten one of the fasteners tightened on adequately with the first try. I had all the items repaired and in good working order in an hour. I was very pleased with the repair. Read More... Stuart M Tolland , CT March 12, 2017 Broken heating element and dials that had the temp numbers rubbed off over time The heating element fix is very easy - just remove two screws holding the element in place, gently pull the element to expose the connected wires, unplug the wires, plug in the new element, screw it back in, and voila....perfectly working oven! Over time the numbers on the dials had become rubbed off from cleaning, so it was difficult to know if we were selecting the right temp. Just pull the selector knob off, remove the 1 screw holding it in, pull out the old Escutchen, put in the new one, put the screw back in (don't over tighten), push the selector knob back on, and you're done!
