Description
This evaporator fan blade is the rotating plastic impeller that moves cold air from the evaporator across the freezer and refrigerator compartments, restoring proper airflow for even cooling. What it does:
- Circulates air over the evaporator coil so cooled air is distributed through the appliance
- Helps maintain even temperatures throughout the fridge and freezer sections
- Worn or damaged blades can cause reduced airflow, weak cooling, or abnormal fan noise
- Replacing the blade can restore normal airflow when the motor and housing are otherwise functional
