Michael G Prairieville , LA January 24, 2017 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Range GY398LXPB00 Touch pad was unresponsive Checked around on you tube and found out problem could have been Electronic Control Board or Touch Panel. I got both and replaced them both. Oven working again. I know I could have changed one part out at a time to see which was faulty, but I just bit the bullet and got it fixed. The new Panel Control is not like my original. On my original panel the touch pad was built into it. This new one I got the touch pad is a separate piece that I had to figure out how to attach it to the panel. I got it working with little fuss. This oven works so well that my wife and I figured it was worth the price to keep this great oven instead of replacing the whole stove and oven and taking a chance the new one would not cook as well.
