Whirlpool 4359331 Charcoal Filter OEM Part

Used a Phillips screw driver to remove the top trim piece on the microwave oven. Then, lifted out the old filter element. Then, installed the new filter element. Then, re-installed the top trim piece on the microwave oven.

Cleaned inside of microwave, grease screens, and ordered replacement charcoal filter.

Filters for the hood under the microwave were dirty - ordered these perfectly fitting parts and replaced in under 5 minutes! Grease filters can be replaced without any tools - just pulled out the old ones and slide in the new ones. Charcoal filter required to unscrew two screws on the top of the grill.

Replaced the grill.

Our over-the-range microwave was so trashed from the drywall guy deciding to use it as an exhaust fan that the filters were completely trashed. The lights were also burnt out so I replaced those at the same time. All the filters were very easy to replace, as were the lights. The two smaller filters just slide right in. The carbon filter requires removal of the front grill, but that just involves removing a few screws and carefully pulling it off. The lights are easy as well, just remove one screw, maneuver the glass cover off and replace the bulbs.
