Anthony S Wallingford , CT November 02, 2018 Appliance: Whirlpool 1.7 Cu Ft Microwave WMH2175XVT2 Dirty filters and cracked grill/vent This was super easy! The dirty filters are just remove and replace items. The microwave essentially tells you when the filters should be replaced. The grease filter however, requires the removal of the Grill-Vent for access. There are two screws holding the vent in place and I had noticed when cleaning the area one day that whoever installed the vent on initial installation overtightened the screws and cracked the vent mounting holes. As a result the vent was a little shaky. I decided, since I had to remove the cracked vent to replace the grease filter, to also get a new vent. So - two screws and a little Windex to clean the area up and the filters and vent were replaced. Total time was about 20 minutes.
