Whirlpool 69871-5 Front, Pick - Off OEM Part

We ordered the hooks for the shelf that had replaceable hooks. And we ordered the bottom shelf called "Pick off Shelf." The Pick off Shelf was just a replaceable shelf and was no problem. The shelf with the hooks wasn't as easy, but that's because we aren't very "savvy" when it comes to fixing things that come with no directions. The "friendly stories" that were at the bottom of each part that we ordered told the experiences of folks. That was very helpful. We persevered and fixed it. The only thing that slowed us down was the fact that when we ordered the hooks it didn't say we'd need rivets to make it work, so after we had that explained to us and we ordered the rivets, we were able to get it done. Susan was the Customer Rep that guided us through this process. I can't say enough good things about her or the company. Our 21 year old refrigerator that worked fine except for having broken shelves in the door is fixed!

The install of the new shelf was very simple. I located the clips to the slots in the refrigerator door, inserted the lower clip, lowered the shelf and pushed in the upper clip through the slots.

Easy, new part pop in the tabs into the holes and pull down to set

Went online right away after cleaned up. Ordered part. Got part. used hacksaw to modify-good to go.
