We fixed it by calling Appliance Parts Pros after Whirlpool had no comment as to the cause! Please call a repairman for $150 - $200. Considering it cost approximately $22 including shipping for the part no way. APP was a great help, non- judgmental as to our expertise and our part came very quickly. An easy fix and I'm a happy camper with good hot temp to sterilize my dishes. Once disconnected from the power source even a child could do it. All it was, was a fuse. Plug and play! Bill M Burkeville , TX March 13, 2014 Appliance: Amana Dishwasher ADB1000AWS1 Blown Thermal Fuse After finally finding a circuit diagram by removing the inside door panel in the dish washer, I determined the fuse was open. I then removed the fuse and confirmed it was open. I then ordered the part from you one morning and to my surprise, it was delivered the next afternoon.
