Description

This high-limit thermal fuse cuts power when temperatures exceed safe levels to protect heating circuits and prevent fires. Replace a failed fuse to restore proper thermal protection and help your appliance heat and run correctly. What it does:

• Opens the circuit if the heater area overheats to protect the appliance from thermal damage
• May resolve no-heat or intermittent-heat symptoms in dryers and other heated appliances
• Can stop an appliance from running if the thermal cutoff is blown
• Acts as a one-time safety device that must be replaced if it has opened
